Presentation Guidelines

Abstracts and papers accepted can be either Orally Presented or can be presented in Poster Session. The papers should be presented by the author in the conference and should adhere the following guidelines.

Oral PowerPoint Presentation

Time for oral presentation is 15 minutes plus 2 minutes given to Q/A. Be at the session room 15 minutes before session starts and introduce yourself to the session chairs

Conference hall will be equipped with Laptop with Windows 10 OS and Power Point 2016, Smart Pointer, overhead (LCD video) projector and Screen. Bring your presentation on a USB memory stick (pen drive) and upload it in the Session Room computer no later than 15 minutes prior to your session start. You may also link your own laptop to the provided projector; however please ensure you have the requisite connector.

  • Presentations should be in MS-PowerPoint (recommend the PPT/PPTX format instead of PPS ) or Adobe PDF formats.
  • All PPT should have an aspect ratio of 16:9, which is HD Widescreen.
  • Only fonts that are included in the basic installation of MS-Windows will be available (English version of Windows). Use of other fonts not included in Windows can cause wrong layout/style of your presentation.
  • If you use a version of PowerPoint prior to 2008, please be sure any embedded pictures are not TIFF format.
  • Videos must NOT be embedded in the PPT. Videos must be on the USB in a separate file with the same label as the PPT and slide number where you want the video. Using unconventional codecs should be avoided. The ideal video format is .MP4 (resolution: 1280x720 or 1920x1080, audio: 44.1 kHz, 25 frames per second). All video files should have an aspect ratio of 16:9 (HD widescreen).
  • MAC users should please make sure in advance that their PPT will work with a PC computer.
Mini Oral with Poster Presentation

Presenters will be required to present their poster in a brief 5 minute presentation to a small group at an allocated time within the main programme, alongside other poster presenters within one of the conference themes. All poster presenters must bring their poster materials with them in their session time. Presenters can post their poster 10 minutes before their session starts.

Conference hall will be provide X-frame display & Base Fabric Canvases (60cmx160cm), Adhesive Tapes, clips or Clamps. Our staff on-site will assist you to put up on the poster board with the clips. The organizing committee will not be responsible for loss or damage occurred to posters left on the panels.

  • All posters must be in portrait orientation (i.e., larger in vertical than horizontal dimension) with a dimension of 95 cm (width) x 125 cm (Vertical Height)) size.
  • The posters should be printed in photo paper/glossy paper/cloth etc. (Posters printed on Flex is not allowed)
  • The letter size should be 20 mm (Font size 80 pts) for headings, 15 mm (Font size 60 pts.) for author and affiliation, 10 mm (Font size 40 pts.) for body text
  • Manuscript no., title, author’s names, institutions/universities, city and country should be clearly indicated on the poster. Name of the presenting author should be marked as *..
  • Poster should be organized into sections such as Introduction, Objectives, Materials and Methods, Results and Conclusion. The matter should be brief with liberal illustrations –tables, graphs, pictures and photographs, but keep these graphics simple.
  • Please stay in the session to the end of it.
